Nando’s Measles Statement
The Health Inspector informed us earlier today (April 18th) that on the afternoon of April 10th a guest, who has a confirmed case of the measles virus, was in our Richmond Hill restaurant to collect a pick-up order. At Nando’s, the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. We have informed all of our Richmond Hill employees and we suggest that anyone who visited the store that afternoon between 2:35 p.m. and 4:55 p.m. check their immunization records. If they have any sign of symptoms, contact their healthcare provider. And they should watch for symptoms until May 6, 2019. We’ve been working with the appropriate authorities and they have determined that the Richmond Hill restaurant can stay open and is safe for guests. The York Region Public Health measles information line is 1-877-464-9675 ext. 77280.
